历史是没有如果可言的，相信大家都听说过这句话。
但是对于写的人，特别是以历史为背景的作者而言，有时候的确不得不为历史插入一个如果的元素。
这一章中国际形势的变化，包括第二次布尔战争的提前触发，都是我在了大量那个时代的史料与政治局势后，插入了大量变量后，调整出的，自认为是最符合逻辑的结果。
但这当然不可能是完美的，因此欢迎政治专业和历史专业的读者指出我的不足之处。
下面列出部分的参考的书单，我之前都尽量不推荐过于专业的书籍给读者，都尽量推荐通俗，易懂，有趣的资料来源，这样至少不会让读者望而却步，但是本章中的知识大多数都过于专业，因此只列出部分，没有太多涉及欧洲史的书是因为欧洲史的书通常不会讨论第二次布尔战争，以及用作参考的论文文献因为要一个个打citation太麻烦了，就不弄了
